Update - 2003

The Strength Team kicked off the New Year crusade season of 2003 in Graham, Washington. After seeing 13,000 souls come to Christ in 2002, the team was eager to move forward into this brand new year. In Graham, The Strength Team did 9 school assemblies and saw 620 people sign salvation cards.

From Washington, the team moved on to Americus, Georgia. Americus is a rural town where many said the program might not be successful. God is bigger than what people may say. The Strength Team was in 25 public schools and also ministered in a boy's home and a juvenile detention center. The Lord brought in a harvest of 585 souls with the host church being approximately 200 in membership. This church has seen substantial growth since the crusade and has scheduled another event for the near future.

The report from Butte, Montana was literally beyond what anyone could imagine. The host church came together with 4 other churches in the community to help. The harvest came in at over 1,000 souls being saved. The community was highly impacted and the team received rave reviews from the local press as the school assemblies touched so many lives and drew thousands to the night program.

The Strength Team conducted another crusade in Riverdale, Michigan. What a week for the Kingdom of God! This church scheduled their crusade in December of 2002 and held it in March of 2003. Over 405 souls came to Christ as a result! Who ever said that God needs a lot of time to get something done? What He needs are available people that will step out in faith to affect their community.

In Coldwater Michigan, The Strength Team conducted a citywide event. A Baptist church and a charismatic church came together to see the community touched by the power of the Gospel! 859 decisions for Christ were made in that week. This is a testimony to these two great churches and pastors who were not afraid to stretch across what may be known as denominational lines to see people come to Jesus. 15 school assemblies were conducted and we have received innumerable testimonies of the lives of the students that were changed!

Pontiac, Michigan was another stop for The Strength Team. God worked even in the middle of one of the states worst ice storms. The crusade was conducted two nights when the church did not have power. One of the nights the program was done with candles lighting the room. Sounds like the book of "Acts" doesn't it? 289 people came to Christ in a Nazarene church. The Pastor has testified in writing that their church has grown by 40% because of this event. The church was averaging 50 people when they held the event and in the past several weeks they have been averaging 95. They baptized 9 new converts a few Sunday's ago!

The Strength Team held another crusade in Hamilton, Montana where God poured out His Spirit once again upon the preaching of the good news of Jesus Christ dieing for our sins! In Hamilton, 895 people signed decision cards for Christ. This event was once again a citywide effort where many churches came together across denominational barriers to see God "shake" a city. We are so thankful for these pastors who stepped out in faith to have the ministry of The Strength Team!

Kalispell, Montana was another great crusade where 636 people came to Christ just a few weeks after the crusade in Hamilton. The churches from Montana have already rescheduled a crusade in the future where The Strength Team will be in Montana preaching the gospel for a month straight.

Another great victory was won on the other coast in North Haven Connecticut. The Lord drew hundreds to the night program and 300 people signed decision cards. The team performed their assembly in many of the schools and received great reviews.

The Strength Team also conducted a crusade in Wallingford Connecticut a week later. The team conducted many school assemblies and had an outdoor meeting where another 300 souls came to Christ! In just two weeks on the east coast the Lord brought in 600 souls who will never be the same.

Our biggest undertaking of the spring was a great missions crusade in the nation of Brazil. The team fought through much opposition to make it there, but God is always faithful to make the way. The Strength Team ministered in a town called Boa Vista where they were conducted their yearly carnival celebration. Imagine 4 great men of God in the middle of Brazil's version of "Mardi Gras" preaching the gospel after they destroyed walls of ice and concrete! There were over 2,200 people that signed decision cards and many more that prayed the prayer of salvation. Thank you Jesus! The mission organization that The Strength Team worked through continues to give great reports of the growth of all of the churches from this great event!

We give all praise and honor to God for sending Jesus for every lost soul! Coeur d' alene, Idaho

The Strength Team drew capacity crowds during inclement weather. The final night there was standing room only as people peered through a doorway to watch this exciting event. 800 decisions for Christ were recorded including individuals from the local gym where the Strength Team worked out during the week.

Lebanon, Oregon

600 souls came to Christ during this crusade at a church with a 250 person membership. As the Strength Team worked with the church for follow-up 83 people were added to the church's home group program in just four weeks following the crusade.

Beaumont, Texas

The Strength Team performed 12 school assemblies this week with a phenomenal response from these schools. Many of these schools were racially and culturally diverse and these assemblies helped to break down racial barriers. The Pastor baptized many converts in the following weeks.

El Cajon, California

The Strength Team performed 19 school assemblies in 3 days. While the Team was certainly on the run, God was also at work. 1,000 plus souls gave their heart to the Lord with capacity crowds showing up every night in a 1,200 seat auditorium. The Strength Team performed an assembly in a High School where there was a major shooting and a student was tragically killed in a car crash days before the assembly. Students and Principals commented on the impact that this assembly had.

Kalamazoo, Michigan

The Lord used the Strength Team to draw hundreds nightly to the program. There were approximately 800 decisions for Christ. This was the second time this local church hosted such an event and the Lord moved in a powerful way to touch a whole new group of people in attendance.

Mesquite, Texas

The Strength Team again performed many assemblies with rave reviews from the community. 400 decisions for Christ were made including many in the Sunday morning service.

Missoula, Montana

The Strength Team performed in a college campus gymnasium and drew great crowds. 700 decisions for Christ were made that week. This crusade was a "city-wide" effort with as many as 12 churches from all denominations working together . It was a powerful testimony of how the message of the cross transcends denominational boundaries.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa

A church that seats 1,500 hosted The Strength Team. The Lord again drew thousands of people throughout the weekend with over 1,000 decisions for Christ. This crusade had a tremendous impact on the community and surrounding churches that attended the crusade.

Butler, Ohio

In somewhat of a rural setting this 300 member church did a powerful job at reaching out to their community. The Strength Team performed 12 school assemblies and saw a great response from the student bodies. With over 500 decisions for Christ in this crusade God touched the lives of countless teenagers, adults, and children.

Porter, Texas

This crusade, again in a rural setting was able to reach into the community as The Strength Team visited 8 schools. The night event was held outdoors off of a major highway. God moved miraculously and 300 plus people made decisions for the Lord!

Aguascalientes, Mexico

This great town was the host to The Strength Team's mission crusade. The Strength Team performed in the "La Plaza" which was in the center of the town of Aguascalientes. This location is the exact geographical center of Mexico. The Pastor commented that the "whole nation could see the ripple effects of this revival." 1,000 people made decision for Christ in a two night crusade and a crowd of about 3,000 gathered the last night in this outdoor event. The Strength Team ministered in the local church on Sunday to the people of "Outreach Agauscalientes" and had a great time of renewal.
