Ann
Hagen - Biography
Ann
was born in 1960 in Iwakuni Japan to a wonderful mother and
a father who was a pilot in the US Navy.Growing up, Ann and
her family moved every year and a half with the Navy. She grew
up with two brothers who followed in their father’s footsteps.
When her father retired, the family moved back to Montana where
Ann met her future husband, Mike who was attending the University
of Montana.
Mike
and Ann gave their hearts to Jesus a few months before they
got married making Ann a first generation Christian. Ann moved
again with Mike who was now a professional football player with
the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks and the USFL Michigan Panthers
and San Antonio Gunslingers. As Mike continued his childhood
dream of playing pro football, Ann stayed home raising their
three beautiful children, Michael, Joshua, and Lindsi. After
six years of playing football, God called Mike into a ministry
called the Power Team.
Ann
not only learned how to succeed within the calling of being
a mother and a wife, but God showed her how to support a husband
in ministry: an Evangelist. For the next 15 years, Ann continued
to raise their children and God called Mike and Ann back to
Montana where they now live pursuing their calling: The Strength
Team.
All
of Ann’s children are now married with children of their
own. To date, Mike and Ann are the proud grandparents to nine
grandchildren. Both her sons are in the military; veterans who
have sacrificed much for our country. Having children in the
military has caused Ann to grow deeper in her faith. Knowing
her sons are placing their physical lives on the line forces
her to either live in fear and worry, or cling to God for support.
She humbly clings to God daily. Her daughter Lindsi is married
to Mark, who is not only a wonderful man but also the vice president
of the Strength Team. Ann is very proud of all her children,
their spouses, and all her grandchildren: what an honor.
In
1994, Ann was diagnosed with Lupus and in 1997, the Lord completely
healed her! but she was left with a severe addiction to the
pain killers she had been taking. She struggled for years, spent
10 months in Teen Challenge where the Lord healed her heart
and started her on a journey of restoration and total freedom.
It was in 2002 when Ann received the revelation in her heart
of how much Jesus loved her and through that love she was set
free from drug addiction.
Through
all of her battles as a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother,
a grandmother, and even a addict, Ann is most passionate about
seeing people set free. She loves to share the faithfulness
of Christ in her own life with others. She has also developed
a passion for photography and looks forward to seeing how the
Lord will use that in her ministry. She is a “woman of
strength” only because she is daily surrendered to her
Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ.
